It consists of an innovative and proprietary pressure plate that is flexible and yet provides heavy compression, making the effective pressure on top of wound much more than a standard compression bandage due to enhanced surface area coverage of wound.
It also consists of our proprietary gauze pad that contains 26 layers of materials aimed to absorb blood at varying rates for optimal absorption in combat scenarios.

Packaging
A single unit of Defender Contour Bandage comes sealed along with a Secondary Bandage. Secondary Bandage is a shorter bandage with a 4×4” gauze pad for smaller wounds. Hence- a single bandage takes care of at least 2 bleeding wounds. The entire package is sealed in a vaccum packed pouch for enhanced life.
